So, last week I completed round four of Field Control Therapy.
All-in-all, it went well–the detox symptoms weren’t as terrible as they were during the previous rounds. I’m sure that it helped that I spent the majority of Sunday and Monday outdoors away from EMFs. My last two posts highlighted my time and miles at Griffith Park on Sunday.
On Monday, I started with a couple of miles on foot to recover from the previous day’s 20ish miles. I was hoping to run three miles but I was only able to run 2 and ended up walking the third. I’m not sure if it was due to fatigue from the day before or if it was a side effect of FCT. Either way, I didn’t want to push myself too hard. Still, it was great to be out on the Santa Ana River Trail in the morning.
After the solo miles, the kids and I grabbed lunch then rode bikes along the beach.

After a little rest at home (with the WIFI turned off), I was ready to get a few more two-wheeled miles in–this time, with my buddy Jason.

Physically, things were a lot better for me during this most recent FCT treatment. With the exception of a few headaches and minor aches near my kidneys, I felt okay. Mentally/emotionally, I really tried to avoid negative triggers. It was a lot easier to do that when I was outside and active. Still, it’s difficult to always avoid negativity and I did have to face some and deal with it the best I could. It wasn’t as bad as last month– I think being aware of my susceptibility to negative thoughts helped me consciously choose not to let them get to me so much.
So, success? I think so.
I hope next month’s treatment goes even better.
